Explainable AI Techniques and Explanations, seminar by Natalia Díaz Rodríguez
On 30 October 2025 the Modena ELLIS Unit hosted a seminar by Prof. Natalia Díaz Rodríguez (University of Granada, Spain) on Explainable AI (XAI) Techniques and Explanations: Images and Tabular Data.
The lecture introduced key taxonomies, methodologies and model-agnostic approaches in Explainable Artificial Intelligence, with a particular focus on techniques for image-based models. Prof. Díaz Rodríguez also presented practical tools and tutorials for applying XAI methods across different data types and for diverse audiences.
The seminar was held in English at the “Enzo Ferrari” Department of Engineering (Room P2.1, Building MO25), open to all, and was supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
